It’s Time to Pray

There’s something significant about a woman going before the Lord and pouring her heart out before Him.  I believe something special happens when women pray. As nurturers and caretakers, we have influence. We have the power to shape destinies, to steer and guide those in and under our care.  Remember Hannah?  She prayed until God opened up her womb.  She birthed out a son, Samuel whose prophetic ministry impacted nations. She made a decision to dedicate her son to the Lord.  Samuel was God’s spokesman.  Remember the woman with the issue of blood?  She prayed and received healing in her body. Ladies, it’s time to pray.  Those who would travail in Zion.  Let’s pray until we see a shift in our families, Let’s pray to the One who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all we can ask or think.  He’s calling us into the prayer closets of our hearts to release His purpose in the earth. Let’s come together and pray.  Let’s encourage one another to keep the fire burning.  It’s time to seek the Lord.  

God spoke to the prophet Jeremiah (Jeremiah 9) to call for the mourning women. There were things at stake that required women to cry out before the Lord. It was of such importance that the women were instructed to teach their daughters how to mourn. There are many solemn issues going on in our society today and it’s going to take prayer to see a change.

My prayer for us is that we would be His mouthpiece in the earth, that when He calls for the mourning women, we would stand up, rise up, get on our post, stand in the gap, and pray and believe that He will answer and move on our behalf.
